If you are transferring a domain to NiceNIC, the process typically takes 5 -7 calendar days to complete.


Standard Transfer Time
Once a domain transfer is initiated, the transfer request is submitted to the losing registrar (your current registrar). The losing registrar may send a notification email, but no action is required in most cases
If the transfer is not rejected, it will be automatically approved within approximately 5-7 days


Can the Transfer Be Faster?
In some cases, the transfer may complete sooner if the transfer is manually approved early by the current registrar
The transfer timeline mainly depends on the losing registrar, key factors include:

• Whether the losing registrar approves or releases the transfer early
• Whether the domain is unlocked and eligible for transfer
• Registry-level processing time

Once the transfer is completed, the domain will appear in your NiceNIC account. Existing DNS settings will remain unchanged unless modified manually.
