If your newly registered domain shows "add period" in WHOIS, this is a normal temporary registry status. It usually appears shortly after a domain is registered and normally lasts for 5 days.
What Does "add period" Mean?
Add period means the domain is still within the registry's initial registration period. This status is added by the registry, not manually by Nicenic.
